Giclee Print Size Diagram

 

 

A Giclee print is a high resolution print of the original painting

 

Prints are produced with an HD printer using light fast pigment inks as opposed to dye based ink

 

The High definition printer used can produce a far wider spectrum of colour and vibrancy

 

Printing is on archival Fine Art, textured papers which are acid free & light fast, so no fading for over 90 years

 

A border is left around the image to allow for framing

 

Titled & signed on the border by Andy and arrives in a protective postal tube or flat in cardboard

 

Please handle Giclee prints very carefully as the ink is almost powdery on the surface and is easily marked

 

A framer will know how to put your print in a suitable frame

A mix of mediums and techniques are combined on the canvas to produce a very unique & atmospheric painting.

Mediums include oil paint, acrylic, inks, spray paint, glazes, texture medium and varnish.

Heavy texture is used in this painting, combined with glazes to create more depth and vibrancy evoking the sea.

The layers of glaze also help to depict the stunning Pthalo Turqu-oise water of the Hebridean sea.

The painting continues around the edges of the canvas giving a very contemporary style and can be hung unframed.
