This room shows a wide variety of my painting styles and colour choices
A mixture of panoramic and square shaped block mounted prints
These have been aligned and laid to fill a rectangular space,filling the main part of wall
This can be fairly easily achieved with a sketch out of the arrangement and measuring of distances between fixings
Because block mounts have a solid keyhole routed into the centre top back of the prints, accurate alignment is far easier
Traditional picture hanging with cord or string can be difficult as there is always a little give
to try and account for
I can help with any arrangement you would like try, by creating you a mockup in design software
A scale mock-up can even be created with a photograph of your room
I can also provide a hanging diagram for you, leaving you to just put nails in the right mark

Unique and contemporary

This type of picture presentation is very unusual
and contemporary
This custom sized print is split into 9 equally sized block mounts
This style occupies a space very effectively without being too overwhelming
There’s also plenty of breathing space for the wall, and the artwork
The gaps between the blocks or canvases help
greatly in wall coverge
Block mounts with a black edge also punch the images out the wall brilliantly
canvas prints with black edges also do the trick

This style of displaying artwork, paintings & prints works with most of my work, with a little messing about in Photoshop
This style also works in many different sizes and dimensions of print, even originals
Abstract images work best in most situations although a mock-up to test can always be created before you order
These are easily hung with some measuring and i can also provide you instructions and a template

How do i hang my picture?

What kind of picture hanging fixings
do you provide?

Block mounted prints come with a sunken keyhole hanger on the back
This locks over a nail or screw and lets the print rest flush on your wall
Several may be provided for larger block mounts
Grip style hangers come with canvas prints, framed prints and original paintings
These rest on a nail or screw leaving the picture flush and neat on your wall
Traditional D-Rings are supplied with very large framed prints
These are positioned to avoid the frame hanging forward and as flush as possible to the hanging surface

Are you worried about damaging your walls?
You cannot use nails or screws to hang pictures at home?

Want to hang your picture without wall damage of nails?

There is now a brilliant solution that does not damage surfaces/walls or require
nails or screws
3M do sell hanging systems in the form of hooks or strips
These can actually take a huge amount of weight

A preferred area for positioning ie above the sofa
Their estimated size of print
I adjusted the photograph exposure and colour levels, then imposed the scaled print into the photograph
2 versions with different dimensions/sized mock-ups of the print were emailed to the customer
A much larger size than expected was required after viewing the initial mock-ups
The customer is now extra pleased with the
resulting print, which fits down to a few centimeters of the mock-ups
This is the kind of photograph that is ideal for me creating real life mock-up images for you
Size is always deceiving, you will find that bigger is usually needed more than you think
Be sure before committing to buy anything, there’s no point in ordering something at the wrong size
Just get in touch to request your own bespoke mock-up

gives a very accurate and realistic representation
I can easily scale an image of your chosen artwork or works for you
I then superimpose the art to scale in the photograph of your space
All i need is a photograph of the space you would like to hang the artwork
Measure the wall or sofa for example, i will then make you a custom interior art mockup

This is a commissioned original painting featuring a clients favourite place in Scotland
A slightly narrower canvas than i normally use as per customers request
This was painted using the customers photographs as a reference
The canvas was sourced to fit the dimensions requested
The customer had taken time to measure up the area above the bed
I was kindly sent this photograph once the commissioned painting was completed and hung

About 3 mm thick PVC is used with a frame

This type of fixing presents the picture when hung in a floating style
Producing a shadow around some edges
depending on your lighting
This drop shadow really adds to the floating effect
