Giclee Print Size Diagram

 

 

A Giclee print is a high resolution print of the original painting

 

Prints are produced with an HD printer using light fast pigment inks as opposed to dye based ink

 

The High definition printer used can produce a far wider spectrum of colour and vibrancy

 

Printing is on archival Fine Art, textured papers which are acid free & light fast, so no fading for over 90 years

 

A border is left around the image to allow for framing

 

Titled & signed on the border by Andy and arrives in a protective postal tube or flat in cardboard

 

Please handle Giclee prints very carefully as the ink is almost powdery on the surface and is easily marked

 

A framer will know how to put your print in a suitable frame

About the original painting

Inspired by Summer days on the beach at Machrihanish just North of The Mull of Kintyre on The Argyll West Coast.

This painting was completed entirely in spraypaint, with some neon colours too.

Loads of layers with different effect combined to create the 3D style

The original image was a mural for a customers garage wall in the barbeque space.

This is available in a range of prints from canvas, block mounted & Giclee to Framed Giclee
