- Just get me a photograph of the area you would like the picture to hang, for example over a bed, with a canvas print spanning the width
- As picture sizes are always deceiving this gives you a much more accurate idea of how artwork will fill your individual space.
- With your measurements of the bed i can scale an image of the canvas and place it above the sofa
- You then have a great representation of how your chosen picture will look in reality
- Not sure of your choice, i can give you as many different images and formats etc you like
- Any advice you need just get in touch and i will be happy to help, i always like a wee project and a happy customer

- Prints are produced with an HD printer using light fast pigment inks as opposed to dye based ink.
- The High definition printer used can produce a far wider spectrum of colour and vibrancy.
- Printing is on archival Fine Art, textured papers which are acid free & light fast, so no fading for over 90 years.
- A border is left around the image to allow for framing.
- Titled & signed on the border by Andy and arrives in a protective postal tube or flat in cardboard.
- Please handle Giclee prints very carefully as the ink is almost powdery on the surface and is easily marked.
- A framer will know how to put your print in a suitable frame.

- Sizes upwards of Large are normally presented in a 3.5cm thick frame.
- All Andy’s work suits black as it really ‘pops’ the colours out.
- Frames are all ready to hang easily, with a grip fixing on the reverse.
- All are titled & signed on the mount by Andy.
- Alternative frame profiles, colours & sizes/finishes be arranged, just get in touch.

The original painting guide
How original paintings are made - what materials are used - styles available presentation - hanging - cost
How are original paintings created?
- Original paintings are created in the studio and are based on memory and from Andy’s sketches and photography.
- Very high quality Loxley Gold canvas or occasionally panels are used depending on the work.
- Paintings normally continue around the deep edge of the canvas/board giving a very contemporary effect which does not require framing, although this can be arranged.
- Most paintings and other artwork are mixed media meaning a variety of paints, inks etc are used. All mediums are the highest quality and protected from damage by several layers of professional artists varnish.
- Andy can get any framing requirements done with many friends in the framing business.
- As many images as possible are posted on the website showing details and different angles of the originals.
- If you would like to see any more shots of a painting just get in touch and this can be done easily for you.
- Studio visits are always welcome and Andy has daylight setting LED lighting to show paintings and prints in the most natural environment as possible.
What paint and other materials are used?
- All oil paint and varnishes etc are the highest quality, producing a painting that will last for lifetimes.
- Andy will use any combination of materials and styles to create unique and exciting work.
- Some examples are Michael Harding oil paints, Montana and Kobra spray paint, Dr PH Martin’s inks, Windsor Newton varnishes, Omega brushes, Liquitex acrylic, Liquitex mediums and other special ingredients.
What styles of paintings are available?
- Many styles have evolved with Andy’s paintings over the years from graphic and street art to abstract, impressionistic and expressive.
- New work is always on the easel and always varies from day to day, depending on mood.
- Andy is constantly experimenting with alternative techniques and materials.

- Andy strongly believes art should be accessible and affordable to everyone.
- As paintings are mostly sold direct from the studio or website instead of a bricks and mortar gallery, prices are extremely reasonable.
