A Giclee print is a high resolution print of the original painting

Prints are produced with an HD printer using light fast pigment inks as opposed to dye based ink

The High definition printer used can produce a far wider spectrum of colour and vibrancy

Printing is on archival Fine Art, textured papers which are acid free & light fast, so no fading for over 90 years

A border is left around the image to allow for framing

Titled & signed on the border by Andy and arrives in a protective postal tube or flat in cardboard

Please handle Giclee prints very carefully as the ink is almost powdery on the surface and is easily marked

A framer will know how to put your print in a suitable frame

Prints are fixed to white acid free mount/matte board

This provides the border around the image for framing

Comes with a hard backing board & cellophane protective sleeve

There are only a few sizes available as postage costs and risk of damage with larger sizes are too high

Unframed prints can be purchased in larger sizes and your local framer can mount for you when framing

The product is UV light proof / archival protecting the print for at least 100 years
Block mounting is an unusual and very contemporary style of presentation, particularly suiting Andy’s work
Blocks are hung flush to your wall with ‘Command Strips’ (sticky velcro strips yo apply to the back of the print and fix to your wall, they do not damage paint and are perfect for rented property
They will hang flush with your wall or can be presented free standing on a shelf for example

My original paintings are a mix of mediums, blended, layered, sprayed, scraped, etched and splattered over the canvas to produce a very unique & atmospheric painting.

This unique style depicts the ever changing wild weather that constantly sweeps across Scotland’s Munro’s, Hebridean Islands & Highland mountains from The Atlantic.

I love to combine & layer different types of paint & application of mediums including spray paint, oil paint, acrylic paint & others, creating a unique style of atmospheric painting full of vibrant colour & drama.

This is my attempt to capture the scene and atmosphere of my favorite areas of Scotland.
And i hope it inspires you to go for experience The Scottish Highlands and islands of The Hebrides yourself.
