Giclee Prints Information - Click To View

– Dimensions given are the image size

– An extra border is added which is titled & signed, ready for framing

– Custom sizes are also available on request

Standard sizes are –

76 x 31cm (30×12 inches) – £55

A Giclee print is a high resolution print of the original painting

Prints are produced with an HD printer using light fast pigment inks as opposed to dye based ink

The High definition printer used can produce a far wider spectrum of colour and vibrancy

Printing is on archival Fine Art, textured papers which are acid free & light fast, so no fading for over 90 years

A border is left around the image to allow for framing

Titled & signed on the border by Andy and arrives in a protective postal tube or flat in cardboard

Please handle Giclee prints very carefully as the ink is almost powdery on the surface and is easily marked

A framer will know how to put your print in a suitable frame

Prints are fixed to white acid free mount/matte board

This provides the border around the image for framing

Comes with a hard backing board & cellophane protective sleeve

There are only a few sizes available as postage costs and risk of damage with larger sizes are too high

Unframed prints can be purchased in larger sizes and your local framer can mount for you when framing

– Block Mounts have 1.5cm thick edges and a sunken keyhole hanger on the back

– Edges are painted black

– Custom edge colours on request

Professionally printed direct to photographic paper & laminated to 8mm thick black edged board

Specialist lamination heat bonds the print to board & is UV light proof / archival protecting the print for at least 100 years

Block mounting is an unusual and very contemporary style of presentation, particularly suiting Andy’s work

Blocks have a sunken keyhole hanger on the reverse making them easy and ready to hang

They will hang flush with your wall or can be presented free standing on a shelf for example
