A Giclee print is a high resolution print of the original painting

Prints are produced with an HD printer using light fast pigment inks as opposed to dye based ink

The High definition printer used can produce a far wider spectrum of colour and vibrancy

Printing is on archival Fine Art, textured papers which are acid free & light fast, so no fading for over 90 years

A border is left around the image to allow for framing

Titled & signed on the border by Andy and arrives in a protective postal tube or flat in cardboard

Please handle Giclee prints very carefully as the ink is almost powdery on the surface and is easily marked

A framer will know how to put your print in a suitable frame

About the original painting

An original commissioned painting & prints of The Isle of Jura at Sunset from Tayvallich, Scotland.

An original abstract, atmospheric seascape / landscape painting of Jura at Sunset from Tayvallich, Scotland.
A mix of mediums are blended & scraped across the canvas to produce a very bright, vibrant & unique painting.

The area is right on the Atlantic coast of Scotland where you can witness some of the most amazing sunsets, and horrific weather combined.

This painting was a commission for a customer with very close ties to Tayvallach & Jura. He is a big fan of my style of painting and contacted me to arrange a personal painting for his new house and bedroom.

The process of creating the commissined piece was a pleasue and customer was extra pleased, sendinfg me the photo on this page of it installed in the bedroom.

I love to combine & layer different types of paint & application of mediums including spray paint, oil paint, acrylic paint & others, creating a style of atmospheric painting full of vibrant colour & drama.

This painting has been created with some semi neon spray paint giving a luminous glowing effect when seen in the flesh.

The painting continues around the deep edges of the canvas giving a very contemporary style although it can be framed if you wish.
