– An extra border is added which is titled & signed, ready for framing

A Giclee print is a high resolution print of the original painting

Prints are produced with an HD printer using light fast pigment inks as opposed to dye based ink

The High definition printer used can produce a far wider spectrum of colour and vibrancy

Printing is on archival Fine Art, textured papers which are acid free & light fast, so no fading for over 90 years

A border is left around the image to allow for framing

Titled & signed on the border by Andy and arrives in a protective postal tube or flat in cardboard

Please handle Giclee prints very carefully as the ink is almost powdery on the surface and is easily marked

A framer will know how to put your print in a suitable frame

About the original painting

An original painting & fine art prints of Buachaille Etive Mor & Rannoch Moor, Glencoe in Early Winter

Original mixed media painting in acrylic paint, spray paint, oil paint and acrylic ink on box canvas.

Original box canvas size 102 x 41 x 4cm – £645 Unframed SOLD

A mix of mediums are layered & sprayed and splattered over the canvas, then scraped through with a scalpel to reveal the colour underneath.
This produces definition of the texture and structure of the rocks and mountains.
Fine layers of blended & splattered spray paint combined to produce a very unique & atmospheric painting, depicting the ever changing weather, shadow & light that sweeps across the Rannoch Moor area
I love to combine and layer different types of paint & application of mediums including spray paint, oil paint, acrylic paint & others, creating a unique style of atmospheric painting full of vibrant colour & drama.
The painting continues around the deep edges of the canvas giving a very contemporary style although it can be framed if you wish.
